Héctor Ambriz (born May 24, 1984) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.

Ambriz attended Valencia High School in Placentia, California and the University of California, Los Angeles, where he played for the UCLA Bruins. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the fifth round (147th overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft.

Ambriz was selected by the Indians from the Diamondbacks in the 2009 Rule 5 Draft.

On September 21, 2010, Ambriz was shut down for the remainder of the 2010 season with soreness in his right elbow. He was outrighted to Triple-A Columbus and removed from the 40-man roster on October 29. After undergoing Tommy John surgery to repair a torn UCL in his right elbow, he will likely miss the entire 2011 season.
